A. All Standard Refrigeration shipping terms are collect, unless specified 'Prepaid/Add' in advance. Standard ships
    FOB from Melrose Park, Illinois for all orders from the main factory and does not ship 'Freight Allowed'.

Q. Will Standard drop ship?
A. Yes, no matter where.

Q. How do I select a water cooled condenser or chiller barrel?
A. Selection of a condenser or chiller barrel can be done by calling our customer service department at
     708-345-5400 during our normal working hours or utilizing the Standard Refrigeration Sizing and Selection
    Software (which can be downloaded from this web site).

Q. Does Standard sell direct to contractors or building owners?
A. No.  Standard only sells through HVAC/R wholesalers and qualified OEMs.  To find the closest authorized Standard
    Refrigeration wholesaler in your area call the factory at 708-345-5400 during normal weekday hours.

Q. What is the best way to clean a water-cooled condenser or chiller barrel?

Q. Can I get a food grade vessel from Standard?
A. No, Standard does not manufacture food grade vessels.

Q. Does Standard give quantity discounts?
A. Yes.  Please call your local sales Standard sales representative for more information.

Q. Does Standard sell expansion valves?
A. No.  Expansion valves can not be bought through Standard.

Q. What accessories does Standard sell?
A. Standard sells rotolock, angle and straight adapters, brackets, sightglasses, liquid level indicators, liquid level
     alarms, relief valves, and fusible plugs and unions.

Q. What are standard lead times?
A. Call the factory at 708-345-5400 for lead times on all cataloged products.  Lead time for non cataloged receivers
     built with standard materials (ie. carbon steel tubesheets) is 3 to 4 weeks, and non cataloged water cooled
     condensers and chiller barrels built with standard materials is 4 weeks.

Q. Do you rate your products according to ARI and ASHRAE standards?
A. Yes.  All products are rated in conformance with ARI and ASHRAE standards.

Q. Do you build your products according to ASME code?
A. Yes.  All products are built in conformance with ASME code.  Standard will also build according to UL, TEMA,
     Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, and British codes.
