A printer is optional and should be Windows compatible. INSTALLATION: From a self-extracting file. After downloading the self-extracting file locate CSCANSETUP.EXE. Microsoft Windows default locations for downloading files may be your Computer Desktop or the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP directory. If you are not sure where it is, click on Windows 'Start' button, select Find, Files or Folders. In the "Named:" box type SETUP.EXE and press . Doubleclick on the CSCANSETUP folder (CSCANSETUP.EXE), click the 'Unzip' button, then 'OK', and then the 'Close' button. Contents of CSCANSETUP will be extracted to a new folder on your Desktop (C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\CSCAN250). You should see a new folder called CSCAN250. Open the CSCAN250 folder on your desktop and click on the 'SETUP' icon (SETUP.EXE) or click on the Windows 'Start' button and select Run. In the "Open:" box, type C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\CSCAN250\setup.exe and press . Follow the remainder of the Installation instructions. The CSCAN icon will be created in Start/Programs/Standard Refrigeration folder at the end of installation. Find and delete the CSCAN250 and CSCANSETUP folders on your desktop. To run the program, click the 'Start' button, select 'Programs', find the 'Standard Refrigeration' folder. Click on the 'CSCAN' icon. UNINSTALLATION: For a complete uninstallation click the Start button, select Settings, Control Panel. Double-click on Add/Remove Programs. In the list of programs choose CSCAN and click the Add/Remove button. Follow the remainder of the uninstallation instructions.
